International Film Festival Rotterdam

IFFR is one of the largest and most influential independent film festivals in the world. Every January it draws tens of thousands of visitors to Rotterdam for a programme of adventurous, boundary-pushing cinema. IFFR actively supports independent filmmakers through funds such as the Hubert Bals Fund and its co-production market, CineMart. For more than eight years we have produced a wide range of video for the festival, from the annual festival highlights to portraits, audience films and social content.

25 Encounters

This special, high-quality print publication celebrates cinema and the arts in the broadest sense. As part of its 50th anniversary, IFFR invited 51 people to share their thoughts, expectations and experiences of film, film festivals and the arts in general.

RTM Pitch

RTM Pitch is part of RTM, IFFR's Rotterdam programme, which puts films and filmmakers from the city in the spotlight. The €20,000 grant is funded by the City of Rotterdam to support local film talent. Every year we make a portrait of the winner.

Marwan Magroun – IFFR 2023 Ambassador

Marwan Magroun is a multi-award-winning Dutch-Tunisian commercial and documentary photographer and a director at HALAL Amsterdam. Through storytelling, he aims to make art more accessible and inclusive, with a focus on identity development and representation.

What we made

Every year we handle several productions for IFFR: festival highlights films, videos around special publications such as 25 Encounters, portraits of RTM Pitch winners and ambassador portraits. We take care of camera, lighting, sound recording, direction and editing.

The result

We have worked for the festival every year since 2017: highlights, portraits of RTM Pitch winners and ambassadors, and special publications. The fact that IFFR asks us back every year says more than any figure could.
