Festival films and aftermovies

A festival, award ceremony or cultural programme deserves a film that captures the atmosphere and tells the story behind it. We have been making festival films for IFFR for more than 8 years, alongside portraits and short documentaries for cultural institutions and funds.

What we make

  • Festival highlights and aftermovies
  • Portraits of makers, winners and ambassadors
  • Films around awards, publications and anniversaries
  • Audience films and promos for the next edition
  • Short vertical cuts in 9:16, filmed alongside the main film

Filming during an event

An event only happens once. That's why we prepare the shoot days thoroughly: which moments have to be in it, who we interview when, and where the camera goes when it gets busy. During the festival we work with a small team that moves easily between the audience and the programme.

Want vertical versions for Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn alongside the main film? Let us know in advance. We'll frame for them from the start, so one shoot day gives you several films.

Working with a cultural budget

Budgets in the cultural sector are often tighter than in commercial video production. That calls for a different mindset: making choices, adapting quickly and making the most of what's there. We'll help you work out what's achievable within your budget.

Clients who come back

IFFR has worked with us for more than 8 years: every year we make the festival highlights and a portrait of the RTM Pitch winner, plus films around special publications such as 25 Encounters. After the film about the 2022 Brabant Bokaal, the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Noord-Brabant came back to us for the 2025 edition.

What does a festival film cost?

A finished production starts at €2,500. The price depends mainly on the number of shoot days, the number of interviews and how many versions you need. Two rounds of revisions are included as standard. After a no-obligation introductory call, you'll receive a quote within a few days.
